Global Help for Social Empowerment Initiative (GHSEI) is a nonprofit development organization committed to empowering individuals and communities through training, inclusive support programs, and accountable social impact initiatives.

Mr. Francis Asekhamhe Ekhasomi

Chairman, Advisory Board

Mr Francis Asekhamhe Ekhasomi provides strategic oversight and governance leadership, ensuring that Global Help for Social Empowerment Initiative (GHSEI) operates within a clear, accountable, and forward-looking framework. He guides high-level decision-making, supports policy development, and strengthens the organization’s approach to CSR partnerships and impact reporting.

Drawing on decades of experience across public institutions, international development platforms, and regional collaborations, he contributes to shaping GHSEI’s long-term direction. His role ensures that all programmes and initiatives align with global best practices, while maintaining strong standards of transparency, credibility, and measurable social impact.

Mrs. Bukola Ekhasomi

Board of Trustees

Bukola Ekhasomi serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Global Help for Social Empowerment Initiative (GHSEI), contributing to the organization’s governance framework and long-term strategic direction.

In this role, she supports oversight of institutional policies, ensures alignment with the organization’s mission, and helps strengthen accountability and sustainability across its programmes and initiatives.

Mr Ofana Benjamin

Member, Board of Trustees

Mr Ofana Benjamin serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Global Help for Social Empowerment Initiative (GHSEI), supporting the organization’s governance structure and long-term institutional direction.

In this role, he contributes to policy oversight, promotes accountability, and helps ensure that GHSEI’s programmes and initiatives align with its mission and strategic objectives.

Dr. Efeturi Agelebe

Social Impact Advisor

Dr. Efeturi Agelebe is a Consultant Paediatrician, academic lecturer, and Chief Medical Director of Lifeline Specialist Children’s Hospital. He also serves as an Assistant Professor and Acting Head of Paediatrics at Bowen University, with a specialization in neonatology and child health.

With over two decades of clinical and academic experience, he is a Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College and has contributed extensively to medical research through publications in reputable local and international journals. As a Social Impact Advisor to GHSEI, he provides expert guidance on health-focused initiatives, programme development, and community-based impact strategies.

CSR & Corporate Partnerships

Mr. Kazeem Bolarinwa, MPH, CPH

CSR & Corporate Partnerships Advisor

Kazeem Bolarinwa is a Certified Public Health professional with over two decades of experience across public and private health systems. He holds a Master of Public Health and a degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Ibadan, and is credentialed by the U.S. National Board of Public Health Examiners.

He has led and managed large-scale health programmes, including serving as Project Manager for the Oyo State World Bank-assisted HIV/AIDS Project and Project Coordinator for the Bamako Initiative, with a focus on programme implementation, health systems strengthening, and multi-stakeholder coordination.

Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson

Employment & Career Development Advisor

Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson is a Senior Employment Advisor and qualified Career Advisor based in England. She works on the UK government-funded Restart Programme, supporting individuals into sustainable employment through structured guidance and coaching.

She specializes in career development, employability support, and life coaching, helping individuals make informed career choices and build pathways toward long-term self-sufficiency. Elizabeth has worked with diverse organizations, empowering people to develop practical skills, secure employment, and achieve financial independence.

Media & Communications

Mrs, Florence Olubunmi Adigun

Media & Communications Advisor

Florence Olubunmi Adigun is a seasoned broadcast professional with over three decades of experience in the media industry and a member of the management team at Radio Nigeria, Ibadan Zonal Station. She holds a degree in Mass Communication and has received advanced international training from the United States Telecommunications Training Institute (USTTI), with additional contributions as a Yoruba language content provider to global platforms.

 

She is widely recognized for her expertise in communication and advocacy, and serves as a UNICEF Ambassador on campaigns against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). At GHSEI, she provides strategic guidance on media visibility, public communication, and advocacy to strengthen the organization’s outreach and impact.

GHSEI trainings are primarily delivered online through live Zoom sessions. Registered participants receive access details after confirmation.

Certificates are issued to qualified participants after successful completion of eligible programmes and may include a unique verification record where applicable.

Yes. GHSEI welcomes collaboration with organisations, CSR teams, development partners, and community stakeholders who share our commitment to sustainable impact.

You can support GHSEI through partnerships, sponsorships, donations, advocacy, volunteering, and programme collaboration.

We understand schedules can be challenging. Contact our admin team immediately if you miss a session and we will do our best to accommodate you. Note that certificates are only issued upon completing the required number of sessions per programme.
